Five signs your company needs a CRM
A CRM isn't only for large sales teams. If you recognise yourself in two of these situations, one would already win you customers.

The word can be off-putting: a CRM sounds like heavy, expensive software built for multinationals. In practice, it is first of all a single place where you find every customer and every conversation. Here are the signs that it's time.
1. Your contacts live on phones
When each salesperson keeps their customers on their phone, the company doesn't own its own address book. The day they leave, the contacts leave with them.
2. Follow-ups depend on memory
A quote sent without a scheduled reminder is often a lost quote. If nobody knows which quotes are awaiting an answer, sales quietly slip away every week.
3. Requests come in through five channels
Website form, WhatsApp, calls, emails, walk-ins: when requests arrive from everywhere, some get lost. A CRM gathers them into a single queue.
4. You don't know what the month will bring in
Without tracking deals in progress, you can't forecast revenue. A pipeline, where each deal moves from stage to stage, gives you that view at a glance.
5. Customers have to explain everything again on every call
When a customer's history isn't recorded anywhere, they have to repeat their case to each person they speak to. It's a poor experience, and a waste of everyone's time.
Start simple
A useful CRM starts with three things: customer records, sales stages and follow-ups. The rest comes later. What matters is that your teams use it from week one, which takes a simple tool and proper training.
